Rishabh Jaiswal is an Indian cinematographer and fashion photographer working in Bollywood. He specializes in capturing music videos, short films, ad films, corporate videos, documentaries, and fashion shoots. He also works as a freelance photographer for celebrities and models, often handling advertising and publicity campaigns. He is the founding member of the Western India Cinematographers’ Association (WICA). Currently, he is the Director of Photography at Rish Film Productions located in Mumbai.
Rishabh Jaiswal was born on 02 February 1992 in Rasra, Ballia, Uttar Pradesh, India. He completed her primary education at St. Xavier’s School, and after completing her intermediate education from Devasthaly Vidyapeeth. Since childhood, Rishabh Jaiswal has been passionate about storytelling and the visual arts, and he decided to pursue a career in cinematography. After completing his 12th grade, he began his journey with a simple 2-megapixel camera phone, capturing moments that would soon shape his future. This hobby ignited a passion, leading him to master 8K cameras and ultimately become a cinematographer and fashion photographer. In 2015, after graduating with a B.Sc. in Animation and Visual Effects. In 2014, he already enhanced his skills even more by getting a degree from the Delhi College of Photography in filmmaking and photography, and wanting to improve his skills, he pursued a course in cinematography at the ICE Balaji Institute in Mumbai.
During this time, he interned on various TV serials such as Kumkum Bhagya, Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi, and Super Cops vs Super Villains on Life OK, among others. His persistence and hard work paid off as he worked as an associate cinematographer on both Hindi and Marathi films. Additionally, he created numerous short films, music videos, and conducted shoots for big celebrities, solidifying his reputation in the industry.
The pandemic brought unforeseen challenges, leading him to return home and embrace new roles. On July 7, 2021, he got married, and while he ventured into business, his passion for the film industry never waned. He is now planning his comeback as a producer, eager to make a mark once again.
Rishabh Jaiswal belongs to a middle-class family; his journey in Mumbai was fraught with difficulties. With no industry connections, he relied on sheer hard work and determination. His work on TV serials bolstered his profile, and he has never looked back since.
